1982 German Mathias Thoma 16.5'' viola w case and bow, Great sounding! - $390 - (Lansing, MI)

This is a beautiful vintage 16 and 1/2" viola. The label inside the F hole reads: Mathias Thoma, It Was made sometime in 1982 in Western Germany. The craftsmanship is excellent, nice ebony fittings, inlaid purfling, fully lined and blocked. Dimensions: body length 16 and 1/2", width 9 and 1/2", overall length 26 and 3/4". With the exception of a few minor nicks, the viola is in excellent, ready to play condition. This is a great sounding, quality instrument for the advancing student. It comes with an old, beat up, thermoplastic case and a very nice bow. I have a 14 day return policy, if some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase.
