VINTAGE 70s AMERICAN TURQUOISE CORAL CHIP INLAY tBIRD STERLING SILVER WATCHBAND - $60 - (Ponca City, OK)
This auction is for a BEAUTIFUL vintage watch band that I have had in my collection since the early 70's. It is another from New Mexico. It is signed but just with a stamped B. I was told it was Zuni when I bought it back in the day, but I don't know what artist used a stamped B as a signature. It is beautifully inlaid with turquoise and coral chips in the shape of a t-bird. It also has some silver stamping. The 2 ends can be taken off of the twistflex band and put on another band if you like. However, it only fits ladies styles because of the narrow size. Sadly...as I remember it...I had the watch all ready to put on this and the wind stem broke. Never got around to repairing and this has been in my jewelry box since then. It never got worn so it's like new except for the tarnish...but that is original patina so will leave the question of polish or not polish to the new owner. e-mail with questions.
