Factory "Used" Taylor PS14ce Grand Auditorium with V-Class Bracing - Sinker Redw - $12,256 - (San Antonio, TX)
"One of the finest guitars I have ever played!" - Christopher McKee The capstone of the Taylor line, our Presentation Series was recently updated to feature back and sides of beautiful and rare Milgaro Brazilian Rosewood. The Milagro Brazilian Rosewood comes from a particular tree, known as the Milagro tree which grew near Linhares, in the state of Espiritu Santo, Brazil. The unique aspects of this tree's environment fostered slow growth providing for the special characterists of the wood earning the name Milagro, which means "Miracle". The tree died at around 350 years old, meaning it was germinated during the 1600's. It was found in a damp boggy region that had preserved the tree and contributed mineral deposits into the wood, like the sinker redwood that it is paired with. On this cutaway Grand Auditorium PS14ce acoustic guitar, Brazilian Rosewood was been paired with with a beautifully variegated sinker redwood top featuring new V-Class bracing, which provides the guitar with increditble glassy sustain and rich complex overtones. The bracing also improves the guitar’s intonation, giving each fretted note more power, uniformity and harmonic agreement with other notes. All of these enhancements translate into a more musically expressive voice for players to explore. Sinker redwood blends the overtone warmth of cedar with the punchy attack of spruce, and together with the Milagro Brazilian Rosewood, delivers a rich, dynamic voice capable of performing in a wide range of styles. Other luxurious features of the series include a beveled ebony armrest, our elaborate Nouveau inlay in paua and pearl, a paua rosette, paua edge trim, premium Gotoh 510 tuners, and a black graphite nut exclusive to V-Class models.
