Large Porcelain Covered Dish Victorian Pink & Yellow Roses Design with Handles - $40 - (Gonzales, LA)

I am not sure what this was used for sugar or tea but whatever it is a large covered porcelain dish measuring about 6" tall and about 8" at it's widest x 6". It is in very good condition but shows wear of the gold trim. It is marked and numbered 3. Most items are sold as I find them and they may need some cleaning. I leave that to the buyer as not to detract from any value. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thanks!
