Antique bentwood Italian chairs with caned seats, approx. 1870 - $1,000 - (Fairfield, IA)

These two matching chairs were bought in Italy by my great-great-grandmother in about 1870. They're in excellent condition. My grandmother didn't allow us to sit on them when we were children, so I'm assuming she wasn't allowed to sit on them either. The caning is in perfect condition. These dainty chairs, which apparently no one ever sat on, are a very lovely accent to any room. 32.5" high, 15.5" wide, 14" deep. Seat height 16.75", chair back, 16" from caned seat. $1,000 including shipping.
