Gibson Les Paul CC#31 Mike Reeder Collector's Choice "Snake" Burst 59 - $10,500 - (Scottsdale, AZ)
Weighing at 8.2 ish lbs is CC#31. and this one rips. It's one of the very best of the run. I m a friend of Mike and had the pleasure to play Snake, formerly owned by Brad Whitford of Aerosmith on multiple occasions, this is a very close replica. Mike picked it for me and the serial number is #13 which is cool too if you ask my nerdy self. Gibson made this one right knowing it d go through Snake's owner.Lightweight aluminum tailpiece,hand rubbed aged nitro finish that they didn t screw up on that one, it looks just right. Gorgeous solid mahogany body and neck, beautiful indian rosewood board with a darker vein all the way through and hide glue construction. Hand-Rolled Binding with a killer neck profile, also very close to Snake and a beautiful subtle red faded finish. Lightweight Aluminum Stopbar-Nickel and Custom Burstbucker, even the celluloid lightly aged inlays look good :) Oh and .. they even aged the case :D keep in mind that the color may change from one device to another. I put a ton of pictures to render it as good as I could and under different light and angles. However, this will not disappoint. The True Historic metal switch cover is in the case.
