For sale is a super Dobsonian on an Ed Jones tracking platform that I have really enjoyed, but because of some health issues in the past year, I'm having more difficulty moving it around. Included are the following: --Well cared-for XT12 Classic, 12" diameter Dobsonian, with optics in excellent condition. --Endcap for OTA. --Orion 9x50 RACI (right angle correct image) finder. --Crayford focuser with 1-1/2" or 2" eyepiece adapter. The original knurled rubber grips have been replaced with smooth ones. --Rocker box that has been adapted for use on the Ed Jones platform. The wheels were removed, but are included in case you want to make a dolly or whatever. --Custom made beautiful Ed Jones wood tracking platform (only about 6 months old), made for latitude 34.5 degrees plus or minus 3 degrees or so (possibly a bit more). Has one adjustable foot on the south end. --Triangular wood laser mount for accurate polar alignment. --Orion LaserMate Deluxe Laser Collimator - makes collimation easy, and the primary has the small donut in the center for accurate collimation.
