This is a(n) Antique Mid 19th C Leather Bound Brass Tacks Studded Dome Top Trunk Dated 1847. Thunk is bound with Leather, has brass tack decor including "ARF" initials on top. Inside is lined with fine blue & white paper, with a newspaper on bottom. Newspaper is dated 1847, Bridgetown N.S. (Nova Scotia Canada). Has iron lock, but iron clasp is missing. Leather is in great shaped, as well as it's leather wrapped handle.
