This thinly made earthenware teapot is of rounded form with small raised spout with a recessed cover sitting within the top. Detail is superb and the egrets - swans have been hand painted against three shades of matte green drip glaze applied around the top rim and to the lid and spout The teapot has the proper impressed seal mark applied bottom right of the handle.
