Belt Sander Upper Idler Drum Assembly. Obsolete at Delta. Our production includes the newer style cast Bracket (406-03-014-0013 also 406-03-014-0001), (no hollow core that tended to crack) and an improved Drum. The Drum (406-03-362-0003) is now a solid aluminum billet which reduces vibration and increases rolling momentum. Unlike the original, it can be re-machined when it loses its tracking crown.We have eliminated the fine threaded Bearing Retainer Nut (the threads in the Bracket tended to strip during bearing changes) and replaced it with an internal Retaining Ring (902-07-020-7176R).All of the parts except the retaining Ring will fit with your existing Delta Assembly and are available separately for rebuilding. The old style Retaining Nut is also available (902-07-020-7176).The assembly also includes Bearings (920-04-010-7273), Spacers (406-03-104-0002), pivoting Keys (406-03-071-0001), Drum Shaft (406-03-108-0001), Jam Nut (902-01-201-2558R) and Pivot Pin (905-01-010-5085). All of these parts are available separately.
