The Hermle 451-053H Replacement Mechanical Movement is an 8-day weight-driven Westminster movement for grandfather clocks. The hammers are mounted on the rear of the movement. It chimes on quarter-hours and strikes out the hours. The movement is 5 1/2" deep, from tip of hand shaft to back of last hammer. The H represents "High Bridge", meaning 15" Dials or higher are used. This is from the estate of a clock maker/horologist. It is a Franz Hermle signed Black Forest Clocks. This movement is new never used but will need to be oiled and set up properly before use.
