Leitz Summarit 5cm f/1.5S/N: 1055693Manufactured around 1953 Lens was serviced roughly 18 months ago by Youxin Ye and is in perfect mechanical condition; the lens actually feels better than anything I've ever used!Aperture blades are clean and the aperture ring has well-defined detents and perfect damping.Focusing ring moves smoothly with nice drag.Infinity lock is working as designed.Lens focuses correctly as confirmed by my Leica M240 camera.Cosmetics and optics:The lens barrel shows signs of normal use with slight brassing.Lenses from this era are very soft and I would say that this is a very clean example with light marks on the elements (I shone a harsh spotlight through the lens to exaggerate the marks for your inspection).Little internal dust.There is no haze, separation, or fungus.Listing includes lens and the following original accessories: front cap, bubble case. -- Bid with confidence.
