The Florentines Signed By Maurice V. Samuels 1904 Hardcover Brentano's - $25 - (Block Island, RI)

1904 hardcover no DJ signed by the author Maurice V Samuels Inscribed and dated from San Francisco  Gold Gilt cover and top edge As you can see in the photos the front cover is heavily water damaged but surprisingly only leaks through to the inside only a little bit leaving the signature and inscription neatly and mostly untouched. The rear cover shows the same type of damage and moderately bleeds into the book fading as it goes. Other wear and tear is minimal. Some shelf wear and bumping to cover.
