Vintage US Military Jacobson UGP 12 Power Supply Unit Engine Vintage Jacobson UGP -12 power unit generator for AN/GRC-109 radio. The data plate shows that this is serial number 502. I believe this unit was made by Jacobson but will not guarantee that. I have read that Jacobson made only 2000 of these generators. I also read on another site that there were 8,000 made. So, I don’t know what is correct. Whatever the case, this one is one of the early units that was produced. It was supposedly used with the AN/GRC -109 radio. My father was a WWII vet and got this unit sometime in the mid 1950’s - early 60’s. I have no idea if it will work. As you can see in one of the photos, the gas tank is extremely clean. The manual and the extra parts are dated 1954. I offer no warranty or guarantee that this unit will run. I do not see any rust on the unit. Overall, this is a nice complete set that includes the engine, case, manual, tools, extra spark plug, and parts kit. The kit includes gaskets, screws, washers, and magneto capacitor as issued with the set as well as a few other items. I will ship to the U.S. lower 48 states only.
