A good set of 4 cast sterling silver candlesticks, Ebenezer Coker, London 1762. - $17,500 - (Marietta, GA)

A magnificent and rare set of 4 cast silver candlesticks by Ebenezer Coker, London 1762. They are in extremely good condition. Good sharp detail to the decoration. They are all fully hallmarked to the undersides of the bases. In addition, the nozzles and the bobeches are also marked with the sterling lion. The bases are also numbered 1-4, matching the same numbers on the bobeches. The bases are also inscribed with the original weights in Troy oz and pennyweights, eg 20” 101/2. They weigh quite a bit less now due to loss of silver through polishing. Each is also engraved with a crest, pictured. Dimensions: 10” tall, 4.5” square bases. Weight: 79.05 Troy oz. Please make sure to study all my pictures before bidding. Most items are antique and have signs of wear and tear. If there is anything you are unsure about please feel free to ask, I will be happy to answer all your questions. All my items are shipped fully insured with USPS or FEDEX. I will always combine shipping and refund any excess shipping charges. Thank you for visiting.
