- Georgian Silver Quart Tankard- Attributed to William Cattell, active London, mark registered 1771- Baluster shaped body with threading and flared base, double scrolled handle with heart terminal, monogrammed M W-A, hinged domed lid, reticulated thumb lever.- Made in 1779 (George III), London, England, UK- Sterling silver. Marks for London, sterling, 1779. "WC" in rectangle, likely William Cattell. - Overall very good condition; pinpoint ding in handle, a few light scratches, slight bends in rim. Other normal age.
