Here is an exceptional Newcomb College Pottery scenic landscape vase in their signature matte blue green glazed, moss draped oak tree design three times around, and no moon. It is very well carved with good contrast and deep rich color. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. It is a nice large size at 8 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest and 6 1/4 inches tall. Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, JM for the potter Joseph Meyer, AFS for decorator Anna Francis Simpson, and date code FQ7 for 1913. A super fine example of the quintessential southern Arts & Crafts art pottery.
