Rare Vintage 19c Vallerythall Opaque Blue Milk Glass Elephant Rider Butter Dish - $750 - (San Antonio, TX)

Up for auction is a rare vintage Vallerythall opaque blue milk glass butter dish of an elephant and rider. Minor chips along the rim of the dish which is to be expected from age. A larger chip along the front of the rim. The inside of bottom dish has a scrape (?) resembling a big V. A few minor paint splatters on inside of dish. Minor scrapes/scuffs. The chips/scrapes mentioned above are not noticeable when the dish is closed except for the one towards the front. Dish measures approximately 5 1/2" across and 6" tall. The dish is unmarked and is in overall good condition considering age. Very hard to find item. *Please note: I do not attempt to "clean up" vintage items because I feel it detracts from the value.* Item is sold as is. 20% restocking fee.
