Vintage Pedler Elkhart Ind. Clarinet & Case - for Restoration or Parts - $35 - (Sedalia, MO)
Up for auction today is a Vintage Clarinet & Case made by The Pedlar Co., Elkhart, Ind. The case shows typical heavy use wear, including tears and wear in the outer covering, wear to the handle, and wear to the felt inside. One handle is also loose on one end. The clasps are intact, but we do not have the key for the center locking clasp and it is a little sticky. I know nothing about clarinets, but this one looks to be pretty complete to me except for a reed. Each piece is marked either with the Pedlar logo or a serial number. The mouth piece is marked "H. Bettoney, Boston." The clarinet shows what I would assume is typical use/storage wear, and is being sold As-Is for restoration or parts. Check out my pictures and email any questions.
