I offer a rare and desirable Gone With The Wind GWTW or oil lamp with a Rookwood base in excellent original condition. This has never been electrified. Dated 1884 and marked with ARV cypher (Albert A. Valentein) and bearing the early shape number 112. No chips, cracks or problems...decorated with foliage and flying insects. I have not seen another. THIS WAS MADE AS A LAMP...IT IS NOT A VASE THAT HAS BEEN DRILLED! There is also an internal paper label noting "Manufactured by R. Hollings & Company, 547 Washington Street, Boston". The lamp is approximately 22 inches tall. The pottery base is 7.5 inches in diameter and the globe about 8 inches. The brass claw foot base is 6.5 inches square. Payment by PayPal.
