To help dissipate the smell, cleaning with 97% alcohol or spraying items with 1/2 vinegar & 1/2 water, then put the item in the sun until the smell is gone. Items that can be washed will require several washings. Vintage items may have irregularities in the glass. Such as Bubbles or mold marks. Colors will vary with different settings. My items are stored in my open basement. SMOKE-FREE HOME. I have long hair. Although I keep my hair up in a clip, a hair might end up in a box. I'm sorry if this should happen.
