You are bidding on a Very Nice Vintage 1970-72 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top Deluxe w/ Case.Guitar has been tested and is in Perfect Working Condition.The pots are a little scratchy but on a 40+ year old guitar this is acceptable.We tried to get a date code on the back but the metal is corroded and the numbers are unreadable. Expect heavy lacquer checking on the face and back of the body.There a few dings on the back of the body and one notable ding on the back of the neck near the headstock as shown. Tuners are all original and are showing some signs of runt but are still in Great Working condition! Neck is straight and this model has a small hump where the neck meets the head.A slight bit of rust has formed on the tuners but does not effect the working ability.On the left side near the head some of the side inlay is beginning to peel as shown. Expect some fret wear on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th frets. No huge grooves just worn flat mostly. Serial number is "969765" and stamped "Made In USA" under that.Guitar has been in storage for over 7 years with no tension on the neck in a hard case, unfortunately not the Original Gibson case. *** PLEASE NOTE!
