This listing is for a Vintage 1965 Fender Princeton Blackface Amp, Serial Number A06041. It comes with an IEC Mullard 12AX7 and an Amperex Made in GB (so Mullard) 5AR4. The rest of the tubes are RCA.We date this to 1965 based on the tube chart date code OL, the serial number A06041 and the EIA codes on the power and output transformers (see pics).The speaker is missing so an external speaker was hooked up to the internal speaker jack for testing. It played well and all of the controls operated, though the pots could all use cleaning and it will need to be restored (like any vintage amp) prior to use.In fair cosmetic condition with scuffs, scratches, marks, dings, damage to the grill cloth and the tolex and the power plug will need replacing.Due to the limited testing and because vintage components can fail at any time it is sold as-is, officially "for parts or not working" with no guarantee of functionality or completeness whatsoever.
