1946-50 Steiff Teddy Baby Germany US Zone Cream Mohair Script Button 31/2" Rare - $595 - (Madison, WI)

1940-50's Steiff Teddy Baby 3 1/4" - 3 1/2" Tall. Tiny Sliver Script Steiff Button in left ear. Eyes brown with black pupils, black stitched nose and mouth. Cream colored short mohair. Inset muzzle light yellow-flesh color as are the feet. Large feet have 3 air brushed lines - claws. 5-way jointed. Made In US Zone Germany Tag under back of right arm has some fraying on end. Hard stuffed. In very good condition. These small Steiff Teddy Baby's are highly collectible and command big prices. They were listed around $2200 in 1990 in "Teddy Bear and Friends" magazine. Several have brought around $1000 or more on Ebay.
