This English (Landcaster) Chippendale Mahogany Tall Case Clock has an eight-day movement with secondary moon phase, slivered and brass dial signed W.M. Smith/ Lancaster, bonnet top with a central carved finial, above an elaborately carved acanthus leaf pediment with scalloped edge tombstone door flanked by reeded columns with brass Corinthian columns, waist carved with Chinese Chippendal Frieze, surrounding an elongated shaped door with original brass escutcheon, flanked by reeded corner columns, the carved base rising on ogee bracket feet.t; Condition Report: Very Good Condition, Clock runs great and keeps great time, the moon phase does not work, clock was recently cleaned and serviced. The door on the case has warping, but shuts and locks, case in very good condition with some scuffs and scratches as expected with usage. Comes with key, winder and weights.
