Rare Antique Vintage Grandma's Steiff? 5" Bear Jointed Possibly 1910 or Earlier - $170 - (Sylvania, GA)
Vintage bear from my grandmother or Oma who was born in Germany and lived in the Black Forest all her life. We were always told it was a Steiff but it may not be....it may be another German brand. I do believe it is possibly from 1910 or earlier but please ask questions and look at those pictures as I am not an expert or collector.....just had Steiff toys in my childhood. So please look at any comments as what I think is true but use your best knowledge ..... It is 5" tall and is well loved. Mohair is pretty much gone and he has had an eye replaced. His arms and legs are jointed and work well. He no longer has a tag or button.....not sure if he ever did. Last picture shows two other bears also listed and I do have other Steiffs as well.
