Rare Antique Vintage Steiff? White 6 1/2" Bear Jointed Possibly 1920's /Earlier - $170 - (Sylvania, GA)
Vintage Steiff bear from my mother who is in her 80's and was born in Germany. I do believe it is possibly from the 1920's or earlier but please ask questions and look at those pictures as I am not an expert.....just had Steiff toys in my childhood. So please look at any comments as what I think is true but use your best knowledge ....for instance, I think it is a white bear based on having the golden and beige bears also. It is 6 1/2" tall and I do believe it is in very good condition overall. Mohair is pretty full and seems evenly distributed. His neck and arms and legs are jointed and work well. He no longer has a tag or button....He does have the red thread on his chest where the chest tag was and his left ear shows remnants of what I believe was a red ear tag or ribbon. Last picture shows two other bears also listed and I do have other Steiffs as well. If you would like to inform me of anything about this bear, I would love to hear it! From pet and smoke free home.
