SETH THOMAS CHIME NO. 90- Circa 1928 WESTMINSTER MANTEL CLOCK This is a BEAUTIFUL clock. It was in one family for DECADES on the mantel. They took very good care of it cosmetically but didn't like the chiming (lol) so never ran it. Thus it only runs for about 5 minutes and then stops. The chimes don't work properly. They work... but just keep going. So obviously it needs to have someone who knows about clocks to make the needed adjustments. We can tell you that this inlaid cabinet model is VERY desirable. It was made circa 1924-28. It has a signed "Seth Thomas Clock Co - 90 Chime" 8-day time and CHIME movement (high quality complicated movement number 124 ) which chimes WESTMINSTER CHIMES on the quarter-hour. We are confident that the person who buys it will know exactly what it needs to get it running flawlessly once again. It measures, 21-3/16"inches long, 9-5/16" inches high and 6-1/4" inches deep, approximately. This clock is made of mahogany wood and has a beautiful finish!
