Vtg. Complete WORKING "1492 COLUMBUS CLOCK" WOOD GEAR HOROLOVAR WALL CLOCK. - $400 - (Newcomerstown, OH)

The only thing that I see wrong with this vintage clock, the wood is dusty. I guess I should have taken a brush to it, but I hung it up and set it , put the upper counter weights and the run weight on, and it took off and has been running every since. It is kind of loud, and the counter weigh rod is a little squeeky here and there, but it is keeping time and running . To set correct time, you pull the hand out to loosen it, put it where it needs to be, and push it in tight. I have seen quite a few of these on the internet, but all but one still have the counterweights with the clock. It is hallmark stamped on the back, "Horolovar Clock Co."
