Postcard depicting the emerald isle, “home of our fathers”, green clover, and an ocean liner crossing the great divide - a depiction of the great Cunarder, Lusitania (unnamed). The card is dated St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1915 - less than two months before the Lusitania was sunk by torpedo. The postcard is manufactured by GOTTSCHALK, DREYFUSS & DAVIS, London, Munich, New York. Series No. 2410. Produced in Germany. Very good condition.
