This is a c. 1890 handpainted Kutani (signed) wine cup with five enamelled medallions; 4 are floral and 1 is scenic. There are no chips, but there are 3 short (but tight) hairlines. Please see the pictures, because these are all tiny old no-harm hairlines. The wine cup rings like a bell! The cup measures 2 ½ inches deep by 3 ¾ inches across the top. The ring base is unglazed and the signature is under it. This is a delightful old Kutani wine cup from Japan. Buyer agrees to pay shipping. Insurance is included in the cost of shipping.
