An exceptional custom Folk Art glass top coffee table in figured maple designed by Stephen Huneck of St. Johnsbury, VT, with a three quarter inch glass rectangular top supported by four carved polychrome painted wooden Dachshund dogs, over a rectangular table with raised panels on all four sides, and an open center. Huneck has become known as a self taught sculptor, author, and furniture maker, with dogs being a strong influence in his designs. The coffee table is in excellent overall condition, with minimal surface wear and imperfections. Signed near the base “Huneck 2007”. Dimensions: 18 5/8" h x 60" w x 36" d.
