Civilian Conservation Corps Company 1743 Celebration Open House - N.A. - (De Soto, MO)

In celebration of African American History Month, Washington State Park will host an open house celebration of Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Company 1743. Company 1743 was an African American CCC Company and their work can be seen throughout the park. Washington State Park interpretive staff will on hand to discuss Company 1743's contribution to the park, give out self-guided tour maps, and display photographs and artifacts of Company 1743. All events are weather and conditions permitting and subject to change. Event times: ten a.m. - three p.m.
