Used Seaward Passat Tandem Double Kayak K2 - $2,999 - (Atascadero, CA)

We are selling a well maintained Fiberglass tandem Kayak made by Seaward from Canada. The Passat is the Cadillac of tandem kayaks, with just a 26" beam. This is very narrow for a tandem kayak, and thus is the preferred boat of racers. As a co-ed couple, we could easily maintain 5mph for long distances, whereas I am usually 4mph in my 19' 22" beam single.This boat is 22' long, so thanks to it's size, it is the perfect boat for long distance touring. We have used it for a few trips, including a paddle linking all of the Channel Islands! It handled beautifully in open water and large wind waves. We were able to fit fourteen days worth of gear, food, and water for two people!There is a small patch of wear in gel coat (shown in images with tape measure). Otherwise, the finish is in good condition top and bottom, and inside.With 2 paddlers, it is far more stable than a single. In open water, we were relaxed and at home, while our friends were struggling in their singles.
