The ebonized finish is all original with very little wear from age.There are a few flakes off the gesso here and there, but nothing to detract from its BEAUTY!Wonderful Eastlake elements, just a AWESOME period frame.The mat has a few tone spots and couple of small tears, but intact.Housed its old wavy glass, fancy matt and a old photo. EXCEPTIONAL AND UNIQUE FRAME!!DO NOT SEE THEM THIS NICE! NOT A REPRODUCTION! Overall size 14" X 18 1/2". Rabbet 8X 10The matts view oval size is approx. 4" X 5 1/4" view.
