WW2 Japanese Sword, Gunto, Signed Huge Showa, Special order - $2,895 - (Crete, IL)

Up for sale we have a nice WW2 Japanese shin gunto sword. This is a nice signed blade by Kanemasa. It has a huge nagasa for a showato of 27 3/4 inches, so this was most likely a special order. Blade is straight with no nicks and bright with a very nice hamon. Tsuka ito is very tight and clean and fits snug to tang. This had a leather combat cover and strap which were disintegrating. A welcome addition to any collection. Only minor thing I see is a few rubs to blade from being pulled out. Please look at all pictures and if you need more information just ask.
