Koto Wakizashi in Shirasaya - $1,750 - (Minneapolis, MN)

This is an old koto wakizashi I picked up some time ago for the sake of study. It has a very bold hada with lots of activity to see. I believe the blade was re-tempered somewhere in its history based on the nakago. Guessing it is around 600-700ish years old. The shirasaya is fresh and well fit. There is no signature on the blade and a simple copper habaki is fit to it. The polish is not perfect and has some minor blemishes. Nagasa is 19.5"
