Nice WW2 Japanese Sword, Gunto, Signed and Dated, Gendaito - $2,495 - (Crete, IL)

Up for sale we have a nice traditional made WW2 Japanese sword. This is a nice signed blade that reads Bishu Ju Masayasi Kitau KORE and dated 1943. Blade Shows a nice hamon that continues through the kissaki. Up close shows hada and sunagashi hataraki. Tsuka ito is very tight and clean and fits snug to tang. Only thing I see is an edge chip about six inches in picture 12 that is not fatal. A nice untouched blade that I have had for years.
