1920's Antique Emerson Table Fan Model # 73648 AK 16" Blade Partially Restored. - $175 - (Timmonsville, SC)

Antique Emerson Table Fan Model # 73648 AK 16" Blade - Partially Restored. Fan Measures 17" Wide with 16" Blade and 22" Tall I bought this at an estate auction where the person worked on fans for a hobby. I saw this fan and was very excited about the black and yellow color scheme. I presumed it was restored all the way since it looked so nice but I was a little wrong. When I tested the fan It spun well but all three speed seem to be about the same speed -- (like the fan is running on the high setting) The power of the fan is very impressive. The fan reminds of a Sun Flower, Bubble Bee, or an old Military Plane Painted like a Bumble Bee (once I saw the high powered blades spinning) The bottom of the fan has felt with 3 extra felt circles to protect one's surfaces. The fan has a little vibration when running (maybe blades need to be balanced?). The fan Oscillator turns but there is a "pin" that one pulls out to start the oscillation but it slides right back and stops it which is different than most fans. I either do not know the trick or needs some attention. This is a well-made fan and weighs 22 LBS. The Blades are steel not brass (I was wondering why someone would paint brass blades but realized they were steel and it made sense.) Overall nice antique fan that looks great and can be used just like it is (to cool and/or for decor) or have a little work done to make it have all the functions work as they should. See pictures of this unique antique fan for greater details. Because this an antique fan and it is being sold as is.
