Cold cast Bronze Lowland Gorilla head by David McLary - $475 - (Fortville, IN)

This sculpted Lowland Gorilla was modeled in clay and then a mold was made and then cast in cold cast bronze. The glass eyes were specially made by one of the worlds foremost glass eye manufacturers. Tohikon of Pennsylvania. I modeled this gorilla from a Gorilla that lived at the Dallas Zoo named Ombom. He was a huge silver back Lowland Gorilla that was 37 years old when he died. He was a magnificent specimen that I met up close (behind glass) a few years ago. I spent several months modeling a full bust of this animal. I cast full busts and heads.
