UNIQUE BROKEN PLATE ERROR (FORTH PRINT) - $995 - (Sarasota, FL)

This is an error i purchased from DR. Fred Bart, the composer of many error books. I will quote his description. "$1.00 1935-E 4TH PRINTING UNIQUE. This in not a offset but an error from the printing plate. Seems as though the plate was broken causing the impression. You are able to read " THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" in green ink from the broken and crumbling back plate. This unique error was first discovered about 30 years ago and no more have surfaced since. A note that can not be duplicated." The note grades PMG 35 PPQ.
