Lot of two items featuring the Statue of Liberty: belt buckle and token. These two items were designed to celebrate the 100th Anniversary or Centennial of the Statue of Liberty, the symbol of the gift of freedom. The belt buckle measures 3.5 inches by 2.75 inches in gold and silver tones of metal. There is a tiny diamond chip in the tablet in her left hand. The condition of the buckle is fair: needs a good cleaning and the back side has a spot where the finish has begun to wear away. The token is 1.5 inches in diameter and weighs and ounce. Features the Statue's head on front side with inscription: "Statue of Liberty Centennial 1886-1986" (the date the statue was presented to the American people). The back side features two eagles and the inscription: "100th Anniversary; The Gift of Freedom." The token is in a plastic pouch but has some yellowish discoloration from age. Thanks for looking.
