1982 Bombardier BR200 Snowcat Snow Cat - $14,500 - (Pahrump, NV)
This is a 1982 Bombardier BR200. There were 30 of these manufactured between '82-'83. The original build sheet (hand written!) can be found on the Bombardier archives web site. This BR200 has a very low 318hrs showing on the meter, and yes the meter works. It is 8' wide and 11' long including the winch. It has a ford 6cyl with 4spd transmission. It is equipped with a Braden winch which is hydraulically driven (currently not working). I purchased this machine from the Nevada Test Site where I work. I have been told it spent its whole life out there. It was used to access microwave towers in the mountains up North when there was snow, which is not very often. This explains the very low hours on the machine. No, it is not contaminated or radioactive. This machine runs and drives well, although I have not driven it much since there is no snow here. It is very original and unmodified. The steering works like it should and there are no hyd. leaks. Hydraulic clutch and brakes work good. I have the rear deck and engine grill that go on the back. The winch is not working. It will need a light switch installed, which I have. Someone took the light switch at some point while it was in storage. It will also need windshield wiper arms, as they are missing (wiper motors work). The heater cable will need replaced, although the heat does work, and the drivers side defrost is not currently working. It sat in a laydown yard for years so the black paint is faded and the seat upholstery is brittle. I have no paperwork for the machine. No title, nothing. It will be sold with a bill of sale. Overall a pretty clean machine. Could be put back to work or would be great for a grocery getter at the cabin. Feel free to give me a call. More pics on request. 719-557-1755
