Vtg 1940's Large Carved Coat Buttons Set 6 Bakelite Era Plastic Matching Brown - $48 - (Wilton, WI)
Set of 6 matching 1940's rich brown coat buttons - carved in the same pattern. Heavy, Thick, "Clunky" . . . they have the weight and appearance of vintage Bakelite - have not been tested - but are definitely of that era. Each button is 1 9/16" wide and 5/16" thick. There are more of this same button and others - NEW OLD STOCK - available in my additional listings. Attach to garment or base with curved needle . . . never used. New Old Stock. They do show tiny scratches and scuffs from 75 years of storage. Not really noticeable. Pattern is consistent, however, there are tiny variations from one button to the next. Character!
