Vintage Madame Alexander Elise Doll Stunning Red Head Rare Tagged Dress 1958 - $395 - (Bellaire, MI)

This sale is for a stunning Madame Alexander Elise doll from 1958. She is a stunning redhead. Her wig is full and retains the original curls. Her eyes are blue with full lashes. She is well strung and holds a pose. She still has her original faux diamond earrings. The dress is a very rare pattern of the dresses pictured on page #62 of the Elise files. I personally have never seen this print before. The dress has all of the rhinestones and lace and a pretty purple velvet ribbon at the waist. The dress is not for the mint collector but it displays very nicely. It is tagged but the tag is fadded so I am sure over the years it has been washed. Two of the snaps have been replaced. There are a few tiny pin holes pictured and there was a repair done also pictured but can hardly be seen. There is a ric rac tulle trimmed slip that is tagged "Madame Alexander". She also wears pale pink lace trimmed panties, sparkel heel slip on shoes, and new replaced stockings. There are no cracks, splits, chews, or odors to the doll. She is very pretty and would be a welcome addition to any Elise collection. Thank you for looking and Happy New Year.
