The chairs have the original light warm brown patina finish. They have dainty little spindles all the way around, dainty little rolled arms that come down into the front legs and a stylish little quant black flare leg. I am amazed that these chairs are not damaged or broken up for their age. They have the traditional hand hold in the back of the curved design. If you want a set of original finish these are great. The price of these chairs is comparable to the price it cost the previous owner to have them recaned.
