Major Misfit Beautiful 4 Year Old Chestnut Mare - $1,200 - (Dubuque, IA)

Katniss is a 4 yr old mare who has had 60 days of training in the summer of 2017. She was started under saddle during that time and was not only eager to learn but was also an extremely fast learner. She is incredibly smart and needs someone who is willing to spend time with her so she can continue to learn! She likes to challenge you but can be easily disciplined. Im a graduate student at the moment and havent been able to work with her as much as Id like to therefore she is getting sick of standing around all the time with nothing to do. I had the opportunity to do some more ground work with her this past summer and it was apparent she was able to pick up right where we left off. She has been shown since she was a yearling and has participated in multiple halter as well as walktrot classes. I have only ridden her western but I can see potential for English riding. She loads with ease and will stand quietly for the farrier. Additionally she loves baths and tolerates an electric razor very well.
