The back mark is clear and easly read, 'JAS CORNING *MOBIL*, tHE NAME (PROPERLY SPELLED IS JAMES CONNING ,MAKER OF FINE CONFEDERATE SWORDS ,as well as a retailer of buttons in Mobile , Alabama. The button comes with the velvet lined case. Because of so much interest I've put two new pictures on.
