This is an RS-232 interface tester and monitor used to test communication cables, POS modem connections, and any RS232 data line DTE & DCE. All 25 EIA leads are configurable and monitored via DB25p and DB25s connectors. Real Time data state can be seen visually on an active lines with this tester inserted into the cable. Dual color leaves no doubt for lead state and problems can be identified in seconds. Jumpers and switches allow custom bread-boarding and forcing missing control lines.
