This is for a very large antique French/European Wicker Shipping Trunk. Exact age unknown. All original. RARE collection piece, display, storage. This has original woven rope handles for pulling trunk along or 2 person pick up and carry. 2 original hog hide hinges where lid connects to trunk. Original metal slide bar with attatched hinges attatched on top. There are 2 large wooden runners on bottom with cast iron wheels built in for moving and 2 on top for when they stacked these. Front has original owners intials. E&R Ltd. Its is not 100% if that what you want buy a new knock off. This is a true antique gem. Stunning piece. Due to size, age and what it was used for, there is a lean to trunk sitting by self in open. In photos its placed against 2 wall surround to help sit straight. See these photos please.
